About Us

Hi, my name is Joslyn Johnson and I’m so excited to bring extracurricular art opportunities to you!

I have taught art for 14 years in a variety of places from schools to museums to camps. I have taught ages 3 to 18 and have taught adults as well. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Art Teaching.

Transforming spaces and creating murals has been a strength and huge source of enjoyment for me. I prefer to create large mosaics or murals with recyclable materials such as plastic bottle caps.

I am currently teaching art for:

  • Hopewell Valley Regional Schools 2008-present- I teach grades K-5 and have taught middle/high school as well. I was the 2014 Teacher of the Year.
  • Grounds for Sculpture 2001-2018 (I helped design and develop a program called Tots on Tour for 3-5 year olds. The program consisted of teaching a full art lesson, touring the grounds and reading a ook connected to the monthly theme. I taught the program for over a fifteen years on Saturdays.)
  • Art in the Park 2008-present- I am the Director for this popular summer art program run through the Hopewell Township Parks and Recreation Department.

I believe that there are no limits to what kids can create and strive to create a fun, structured and very creative space where people can be themselves!

All classes will take place in my home studio in Moorestown. Events can take place at a venue of your choice or at the studio.

I look forward to meeting you!
